Mi is a textúra? A textúra egy felület érzése, legyen az valós vagy ábrázolt. Ez utalhat a tényleges tárgyak és művészeti alkotások érdességére vagy simaságára, vagy e tulajdonságok illúziójára.
Felszíni textúra: Jeff Koons léggömb-kutyájának tökéletesen sima, tükrözött felülete van, olyan hogy szinte megerintenénk. Kurz über das Thema Textur
Was ist Textur? Textur ist das Gefühl einer Oberfläche egal ob die echt oder abgebildet ist. Es kann sich auf die Rauheit oder Glätte von tatsächlichen Objekten und Kunstgegenständen oder auf die Illusion dieser Qualitäten beziehen.
Oberflächentextur
Der Ballonhund von Jeff Koons hat eine perfekt glatte, verspiegelte Oberfläche, sodass wir sie gerne berühren würden. Oftmals macht gerade diese Oberflächentextur gewöhnliche, kurzlebige Alltagsgegenstände zu wertvollen und attraktiven Objekten. Im Gegensatz dazu verleiht die raue, unebene Oberfläche des Fang-Ding - Zeremonialgefäßes der alten Shang-Dynastie dem Objekt eine lebendige Energie, lädt jedoch nicht intensiv zum Berühren ein.
Die Illusion von Textur
Die Illusion von Textur ist für unsere Erfahrung von Kunstwerken nicht weniger wichtig. Niederländische Stillleben sind zu Recht berühmt für ihre sorgfältige, illusionistische Darstellung von Objekten. Die glatten Silberteller und Glasgläser von Pieter Claesz' Stillleben scheinen tatsächlich vor uns zu stehen und sich auf uns zuzubewegen, genau wie die Kekse und Brote und der krümelige Kuchen in der Mitte. Der im Bild zu uns weisende Griff des Messers "bietet sich" geradezu zum Greifen an, was diese prachtvolle Tischdekoration noch verlockender macht.

Briefly on the subject of texture
What is texture? Texture is the feel of a surface, whether real or depicted. It can refer to the roughness or smoothness of actual objects and works of art, or to the illusion of these qualities.
Surface texture
Jeff Koons Balloon Dog has a perfectly smooth mirrored finish that we'd love to touch. It is often precisely this surface texture that turns ordinary, short-lived, everyday objects into valuable and attractive objects. In contrast, the rough, uneven surface of the Fang-Ding - ceremonial vessel of the ancient Shang Dynasty gives the object a lively energy, but does not invite intense touching.
The illusion of texture
The illusion of texture is no less important to our experience of artwork. Dutch still lifes are justifiably famous for their careful, illusionistic depiction of objects. The smooth silver plates and glass glasses of Pieter Claesz's still lifes actually seem to be standing in front of us and moving towards us, as do the biscuits and bread and the crumbly cake in the middle. The handle of the knife, which is pointing towards us in the picture, "offers" itself to grasp, which makes this magnificent table decoration even more enticing.
